DIY has become downright trendy — if you don’t believe me, just check out Pinterest! While I have never been a “crafty” person, I have started making more things for our home using my doTERRA essential oils. It is easier to make things with essential oils than I thought, saves me money and ensures I have toxin-free products in our home! A win-win in my book.
Christmas is my favorite holiday. I LOVE the decorations, the music, the scents, the holiday cards, the time spent with family — I could go on and on! I used to scent our home with candles, until I learned about the harmful toxins that most candles emit. Candles that have a fragrance commonly contain formaldehyde, petroleum distillates, limonene, alcohol and esters. These chemicals may cause health problems ranging from headaches to cancer! Wax warmers are generally made with a petroleum-based wax (petroleum is used to make gasoline), may emit formaldehyde and contain diethyl phthalate which may cause irritation to your eyes, throat, nose and respiratory system. No thank you!
Christmas Diffuser Blends
Diffusing essential oils is an easy way to scent your home for the holidays, and I love the added bonus that not only are they not harmful to us, they protect our health! Some of my favorite blends:

Christmas Essential Oil Room Sprays
Christmas room sprays are easy and fun to make — and they make great gifts (teachers, hostess, stocking stuffers, etc.). Add the ingredients to a 4 oz glass spray bottle, and shake before each use. A few of my favorite room spray blends are:
