Fall is in the air at my home in Hudson, Wisconsin.  I love to decorate for Halloween, and also make some of my favorite fall favorites (most of which include essential oils, of course).  I will share a few of my favorite go-to recipes in this article, and hope you enjoy them as well!

Healthy Pumpkin Cookies

Pumpkin spice cookies made with healthy ingredients and flavored with essential oils are one of my family’s favorites.  Danny is gluten-free, so we adapt this recipe by adding in our favorite gluten-free all purpose flour (I like the Costco brand).  I love the warm spicy flavor that adding in the Clove, Cinnamon Bark and Ginger essential oils provide, and I also love the added health benefits.  If you are a wholesale doTERRA member, and take advantage of the LRP ordering system, you can earn a FREE Clove Oil in October!  You can see the full recipe by visiting doTERRA’s blog:  https://www.doterra.com/US/en/blog/recipes-pumpkin-cookies.

Healthy Pumpkin Smoothie

Another fall favorite is the OnGuard Pumpkin Smoothie.  This is a delicious and nutritious way to start your day, and it’s easy to make to boot!  Using OnGuard internally is a great way to support your immune system, especially at this uncertain time.   Our family likes to make a blender-full to share in the morning, or often as an afternoon snack.

Healthy Pumpkin Latte

Pumpkin spice latte is another go-to at our house.  We like to add 1 drop each of Cinnamon Bark, Clove, OnGuard and Wild Orange to our latte’s in the morning.  We also enjoy Lavender Lattes, Peppermint Mochas, Frankincense and Wild Orange Mochas, OnGuard Chai Teas and Peppermint Hot Cocoas.  We add 1 drop of each oil to our typical recipe of latte, mocha, tea or cocoa for an instant flavor and health boost.

Healthy Fall Sugar Scrub

This DIY Fall Sugar Scrub is great for exfoliating, smoothing and softening dry fall skin.  We like to make a batch of this for each bathroom, and use before we shower or bathe.  This also makes a great gift.  We typically make a big batch, separate it into mason jars, and add a bow around the top.  The doTERRA essential oils in this blend are Ginger, Cassia and Clove, and provide a warm and spicy aroma.  You can find the full recipe here:  https://www.doterra.com/US/en/blog/diy-festive-fall-sugar-scrub.

Do you have a fall favorite DIY to share?  I am always looking for new healthy recipes!  If so, please drop your recipe in the comments.
